How does the referring website affect user engagement and time spent on different pages?
Based on current observations, the only pages that refers to other pages is my main page. THe other pages were access directly but show more activity on them than if they were not access directly. This leads me to believe that users will be more inclined to stay longer on a page that they meant to go to rather than one they stumbled upon.
In the first chart it appears that I need to improve the navigation between websites, the only way that users are reaching those other sites are if they manually type the url. In addition to that, the average time users spent on hellodataviz who accessed it indirectly was significantly higher than those who acces it directly. In my the User Reading Summary Data grid I aimed to consolidated this graphic into a digestable medium. The sort buttons allow users to see which sites were the most active as well as which sites were the most read.
